Gnice Gragngny Squares. Gnomequeen.

When I've finished my grandson's acrylic blanket I'll get back on the wool shell blanket I've started.

Will this be a stash buster, Sue? Are those unknit skeins just waiting their turn to become granny squares?

I can't believe it's 90 degrees there...we're starting into autumn here. I only sit outside to knit if the sun is directly on me...otherwise, it's too chilly. Brrrrr!

Cute cute cute! It's 90 degrees here too, but it is dry . . . like a sauna.

Pearl, I think you're on to something! No wonder Sue can crank out blanket after blanket. She's got help!!! Why didn't I realize that before? Sue's been pulling the wool (get it?) over my eyes for about 3 yrs now.

We are having beautiful weather here. I can't imagine needing the two worsted strand blanket I am making -- but winter in Afghanistan can be pretty cold, so I keep knitting on it in my cool basement craft room. (Only problem - since the digital change the tv down there is not very functional - even with converter box and new antenna.)

Good work, Pirate Sue. I could use a few of your little mateys, too! I've been rather out of the loop the last few days. (Must be National Pun Day today.)

Looking forward to seeing the finished product,
Becky
