Happy Thanksgiving!
I am so grateful to see the inspiring generosity of Afghan for Afghans knitters. May you all enjoy the holiday in gratitude and plenty with loved ones -- with lots of time for knitting!
Warmly, Kathy

Our Campaign for NGO Help the Afghan Children closed on Feb. 29, 2012.
Thank you very much for your participation! Your hand-knit and crocheted wool gifts are beautiful and top-notch and will be most appreciated by Afghan girls and boys next winter. We're grateful for your caring and generosity.
Please check our website or join our email list for future campaign announcements.
THE BASICS
afghans for Afghans is a people-to-people project that knits and crochets wool blankets and garments as a practical gesture of friendship and respect for the people of Afghanistan. The project started in late 2001 in response to the war that unfolded after 9/11. This follows a long-time tradition of knitting for others at times of war and crisis. Afghan families still need to know that we care. Join us here for camaraderie, inspiration, and mutual support with projects.
