On Its Merry Way

I'll be mailing this one early in the week.

Its pedigree: Patons Classic Wool, Lily Sugar 'n Cream 100% Wool, Panda Woolbale. Ann Budd's Handy Book of Sweater Patterns, raglan pullover, size 30" chest (though I made the body about 2" longer than the pattern suggests). Size 7 needles throughout.

All my favorite colors! No, no, no - must resist inspiration and finish the things already in progress. . .

Terrific to add the 2" extra in torso. Such a cheery sweater! Thanks so much -- to Ann blogger and Ann Budd from Afghan Ann

That is so colorful! I'm going to have to invest in Ann Budd's book.

I hear you, Elizabeth! I want to make every thing that's been posted. But I have a sweater on needles to get done. I think I can, I think I can.

This is just gorgeous!

How long did you make it, Elizabeth D? I'm working on a 30 in torso sweater right now. The pattern I'm using looks short to me and I want to be sure it's long enough.

Kathy, this sweater was made by Ann M -- I've sent the question on to her.

I just measured my finished sweater since I haven't packed it up yet. I knit the torso to 13.5" (same as the sleeves). Shoulder to hem is 21.5"

If shoulder-to-hem is similar to back-of-neck to lower edge measurement, then 21.5" torso length for 30" chest is a good length. Thanks.

Back neck to hem is 23" :-)

Sounds perfect -- that means warm kidneys, right?
