Hi,
Here is my 4th blanket. It is done in a shell stitch with Paton's Classic Merino in blues and greens.
The reddish/brown blanket is an Acrylic replacement for a wool blanket that my daughter-in-law felted down to a pot holder size in the washing machine. (I know...not a4A, but I thought you'd like to see it.

It's beautiful, Reed. I love the blue/green combination, they're my favorite.

very nice! I do like shells...
Sue, thanks for the note re yarn sales. But just an alert: Paton's Shetland Chunky is just 25% wool, so not acceptable for afghans for Afghans.

Reed--
Thanks for sharing your lovely work, both personal and a4A. I hope your daughter-in-law didn't throw the felted blanket away--I'll bet it would be a terrific pot holder or trivet. I've acually made such items on purpose. Wool is such a good insulator.
And thanks, Sue, for the sale alerts. How else would we keep producing all these great warm things for Afghanistan? I certainly couldn't do it at regular price. Say "wool sale" and I'm there.

I'm in awe of you crochet folks. You crank out these great afghans like it's nothing. Beautiful work, Reed
These blankets are so beautiful. I especially love the color scheme in the blues/greens.
