Wooly Warmies

More crocheted mittens heading off to the hinterlands...  These are medium-large for those older kids, made out of worsted llama/sheep wool with a strand of Elizabeth's Alpaca Fine worked in.  Nice and warm!

I'd love to see more posts here.  What's everyone else making?  Your work inspires me and keeps me on track so that I don't procrastinate!

These are just gorgeous, Marcie!! I am going to get out my crochet hook -- in January -- and see whether I can do this pattern. So far all of my crocheting has been done in straight lines.

I am pretty busy with Christmas knitting but I did sent a small box in Monday with a pair of mittens and two pair of socks.

I think this pattern is one of the best -- for fit and function -- for crochet mittens. Adding the strand of alpaca fine is a super boost of warmth! Thank you so much!

I made a hat, but it turned out too small.. more of a baby size. What does one do with a wool baby hat?
