These will go in the mail either this afternoon or tomorrow. I figure I'll cast on another pair, just in case we have another chance soon.

Let's work together on our projects for afghans for Afghans.
It's a knit-along; it's a crochet-along!

Those are very attractive!
These are beautiful socks, Amber. What pattern is it?
Thanks Cecilia -- I used Ann Budd's pattern for Basic Socks from "The Knitter's Book of Handy Patterns" as a start, but then added the stitch pattern, called “Embossed Stitch” from page 87 of More Sensational Knitted Socks by Charlene Schurch. I also used her directions for the stockinette heel with garter border. So it's pretty much of a mish-mash.
Hardy a mish-mash, Amber! You're a true sock designer. ;-)
Thanks for the info, Amber. I'm so impressed! I never think to mix patterns but I'd like to try...even if it means copying what you did!
I like them a lot - The standard sock pattern with a special stitch pattern makes them much more interesting. I like a little something different to keep my interest - though lately I have mostly been using stripes of stash yarn to brighten the socks up a bit.
Very pretty! I really like how the colour and the stitch work so well together.
These socks are lovely. I think you should write up that "mish-mash" and post it on ravelry.
