Brown stripes
Ten days ago, I gathered a few wools from the stash, mostly browns but a few greens too and even two shades of purple, to see what I could do with them. I had more of the rust color wool so I chose it for the collar and ribbing, and I followed my own top-down raglan pattern from the a4A website, for a size 10 pullover. Apart from some hair-raising moments when I didn't know if I had enough of one color to have matching stripes on both sleeves, this was a piece-of-cake project and a good stash-buster too.

Laura, your sense of color is admirable. This is a gorgeous sweater - looks carefully designed rather than a stash-buster. Some lucky child will be very warm.
Great combination of colors. The sweater looks a lot like the raglan top-down I've done - mostly the way the neckband is done.
I totally love it! both the style and colors. As said above, you did a wonderful job of combining the colors so it looks beautifully designed.
That is one great-looking sweater, Laura!
The sweater I am making from your pattern is still on the needles but I am closing in on it -- past the half way point on the body with the sleeves done - so maybe I can get it there by priority mail. Just in case I went ahead and mailed the three pair of mittens I have finished yesterday so the basement people will have them on time for sure.
