Help!

Does anyone remember where to find the mitten pattern that was recommended on a prior campaign for using the super-bulky Blue Sky alpaca-wool yarn? I have leftovers from the baby blanket we made earlier this year that I think will be about right for a pair of mittens.

Thanks!

Hi, Becky -- I think it was probably the Big Mitten from Knitting Pure and Simple: http://www.knittingpureandsimple.com/bigmitten.html
That one's worked in the round.
There's also a pattern to knit flat and sew up, Gifted, by Kate Gilbert: http://www.kategilbert.com/freepatterns/gifted.pdf

Can't wait to see!

I easily adapted the Gifted pattern to work in the round and made several bulky alpaca pairs for the last drive.

Thank you all! Yes, the Knitting Pure and Simple pattern seems to be the one we used. This time, I'm saving it. It's cast-on time tomorrow!

I just found another mitten pattern for superbulky mittens, this one in kids' sizes. Use the medium or large for this campaign:

Outsider Mittens

Wow, Elizabeth, you're up to the minute, for sure! The Outsider Mittens pattern was just posted this morning. Thanks--I'm gonna have fun.
